What's your opinion?
I don't really like the fact it's much shorter than the first one.

overheard in a restaurant...
"The food here is terrible! And the portions are so small!"

I feel that the second game has way more replayability as far as the plot goes. IE you can replay DX:IW 3-4 times, and do completely different missions. DX2 offers a lot more freedom as far as choices that actually feel like they matter.
DX1 had choices, but very few of them mattered until the end of the game.

None of the choices in DX:IW matter, until the very end. Just like in DX.
And there's no Santa Claus.

yeah there is i saw him at the shopping mall molesting some little kids. he sure has got a sack full of goodies for nice children, but the poor buggers are too young to be eating german sausage

IMO, DX has more replayability due to the skill system, which markedly influenced your approach to each mission even if it was mostly the same ones. Many of the 'different' missions of the WTO and the Order are quite similar, and really don't create the kind of replay potential that the skill system did.

Thats a good point, primal, which i had forgotten about.

I agree, ZFGokuSSJ1
...it doesnt take a rocket scientist to tell you that Deus Ex 2 has problems; small levels being one problem, streamlining being another.
Just take a look around. Forums are ablaze with resentment against Invisible War. Everywhere you go, you cant get away from it; you cant ignore it.
...maybe it's because something's wrong with DX2...
