I don't think the "myspace destroys sound quality" argument holds much water. The only point is to sample the music, and if it sounds that terrible with a bit of compression, then the compression probably isn't the biggest problem.

well maybe it's just me then, but I find myspace quality more than enough to judge whether or not some music is worth buying. It's not much different than listening to the radio.

it's probably pretty similar because FM radio stations tend to use quite a bit of dynamic range compression
