Well, I resigned myself to playing the game on the weaker machine that doesn't cut off the speech.
But a couple things have struck me as odd...
[spoiler]I've just come back from Versalife after uploading the Sword ROM. One of Tong's Guards informed me that my "doctor friend" (obviously Jaime) was in the infirmary. But he was nowhere to be seen. Alex was in the computer room, as before. Is this meant to happen, an unresolved glitch? I wanted to have a talk with him.[/spoiler]
[spoiler]Also, in the MJ12 labs under Versalife, were the P-modified guards supposed to stand there and not bat an eyelid while I made off with the three Aug canisters in the "Tokamac" room?[/spoiler]

1. Yes, it's a glitch; you'll meet him just before leaving HK and he'll bring you something valuable.
2. Before you download sword ROM they'd regard you as a buddy from their US unit.

1. Yes, that's a glitch - they seem to think that Jaime is there when he isn't. The same thing happens with Paul. It appears to be a premature statement. Jaime/Paul isn't there yet. They appear later.
