This is one of my favorite flicks and I'm going to purchase it on DVD.
I've originally saw it at the theater and have seen it over five times in the past, however hadn't seen it in a few years. Recently it was on one of the pay stations on cable, however the audio wasn't in stereo. I then remembered that I'd never seen the movie in stereo and seeing as the music is so vital wondering if the DVD is stereo.
Thanks
BTW did a Google search and found the movie, but it just says Dolby. Could just be digital sound and not stereo?

I refuse to buy the Clockwork Orange DVD unless it's the expurgated version. The one without the gannet.

I believe the original was filmed in mono.
The first Kubrick Collection boxed set, which doesn't include Eyes Wide Shut, was the set that Kubrick approved before he died. He wouldn't let WB release them with anything other than the original soundtracks and aspect ratios with which they were originally filmed.
Posthumous releases have included both stereo and 5.1 mixes. More (

I don't like them; they wet their nests.

Thx.
Apparently I have to get it in a re-release as the original are all in mono as I suspected. However at least it's availible in 5.1 in a re-release as Tenk said.
And ZB. Why would you want the censored version? The original too violent?
If there is an uncut version that I've never seen, I would be interested in that as well stereo or not.
