Hardest difficulty. 1.0004 or 1.0005.
Finish Stalker without picking up free items, only bought or got as reward items are allowed to carry, use, or sell.
I.e. no items from corpses or stashes, this includes weapon, ammo, armour, artifacts. To get something you need either to buy it, or finish quest(s) and get it as reward.
Erm..... isn't that a bit too much? ;)

I'm playin with mods (more mutants, blow-outs, radiation) on Master and I say:
TOO HARD.
I barely stay alive using everything. But with vanilla STALKER it could work.
if you want a challenge use a mod and master difficulty.
your proposal sounds more like a dreaded achievement, save that for the upcoming Xbox version of STALKER, I'm sure something like that will come up during the discussions :)
I just think STALKER itself gives you enough challenge as opposed to other games I would like to replay but are just so damn boring easy (HL2) or a fucking cheat above normal (COD)
before the first mods came out and I played STALKER the first time I gave myself the following limitations:
- no crosshair in normal aimmode
- not using of food for healing
- not using artifact exploits for repairing armor
after that playthru when I heard that GSC programmed the ironsight to be LESS accurate as hip-shooting I dropped the first point and for the last 2 patches and mods came out. Nowadays I find blow-outs, more mutants and cross-border patrolling monoliths the biggest challenge.
but if we come up with a good concept, I'm all FOR IT !!!!
