You own a dick. That was 591 characters essentially about nothing. But very vocal ones!

Hey, Banana Republic, haven't we told you before to leave the one-liners alone before you hurt yourself? You really aren't very good at the zingy humor thing.
Rogue Keeper on 13/9/2007 at 15:52
Hey Junkyard. Don't like tea and bisquits? Or the idea that you own a dick? :(
Rug Burn Junky on 13/9/2007 at 15:57
Ya see, that's what I'm talking about. There's no zing there, your one-liners are kinda flaccid.
Rogue Keeper on 13/9/2007 at 15:59
Make me care about your opinion on my one liners. :)
SubJeff on 13/9/2007 at 15:59
BR just shut up. It's not just RBJ's opinion, it's everyones. Are you ever going to get it? No, didn't think so.
Rogue Keeper on 13/9/2007 at 16:07
No, tell me. Stitch is just as incompetent in questions of evolution as most people around, he has no real arguments against my presented possibilities. Instead he single-handedly dimisses my explanations as "stuff". With this sort of person, discussion is impossible neither on scientific nor on philosophical level.
Then big self designed macho RBJ hops in as if he was his pimp. And because the big Stitch & RBJ duo like to think they OWN the CommChat, they are allowed to silence anyone who doeasn't fit their image or dares to disrespect their virtual authority.
MY ASS.
That is right, discussion on this level has no real sense.
Tea and bisquits?
SubJeff on 13/9/2007 at 16:12
Yeah, because clearly I'm just one of the Stitch and RBJ gang so that's the only reason I'm telling you to shut up.
Rogue Keeper on 13/9/2007 at 16:14
Fine.

Well, thats my view as well, but you can't
disprove there is a god or gods or whatever that just set things up so they play out in a way that can be explained logically without recourse to supernatural (i.e. massively unobserved) phenomena. So why argue about it! The things that can be disproved generally get disproved, evo hasn't been yet and doesn't look likely to be, let people believe whatever makes them happy about stuff that can't. As long as we all agree on what can be sensibly called 'the facts', then what does it matter?
Actually I think God has pretty much been disproved. Not that you prove or disprove things in science, you gather evidence. Good theories gather lots of supporting evidence; Evolution is a good theory, in a relatively short time and with a limited fossil record it has amassed an overwhelming body of supporting evidence. Bible God, on the other hand, is a bad theory; after a few thousand years and an awful lot of looking Bible God has, ostensibly, no supporting evidence, but instead an ever expanding universe of contradictory evidence.
Sure, I suppose it could be that God lives in the Fairy Plane and science can't see the Fairy Plane because it's a magic secret. Or it might just be that Bible God is made up. Call me grumpy, but I certainly don't think that the onus is on me to accept the Bible or religious beliefs as anything other than disingenuous.
