Interesting you mention this....I think it's realistic for at least a good chunk of us. I wonder if we'll realize the significance of the year when we get there and if we'll go back and play ss1 to commemorate :D

You can bet that if TTLG is still around and we're still on it, D'Arcy will remind us and I'll play it.
Of course, if TTLG is gone, I'll play it anyway. :)

By then I'll already have System Shock permanently implanted in my brain, via a military grade cyber interface, so I'll be able to simply close my eyes and play it in my head whenever I want to.
