I don't know if anyone thinks the way I do, but i'm constantly discouraged every time I realise that i'm about 1/4 of the way through living. 1/5th however, according to the new studies.
I'd be interested to here what you guys think of this (

20 years longer! that would be awesome! but what about the HUGE projected population increase? from 8 to 11 billion by 2030. That is downright scary. Thoughts are welcome. Personally, I don't care! the longer I live the better at this point!:thumb: Besides, all you need to do really is take a trip to ohio or some midwest states to realise how baren the land is and figure out what the real capacity might be.

You know I learned that the best way to deal with the frustrated people that come online just to be pricks to other people (since in this medium you can't really lose/be penalized for it) is to just avoid it entirely. If you even so much as make a post in reply to them you've already lost...
agh, I fail.
It's so hard not to, sometimes you really just wanna  flame the shit out of those people that seem to get their kicks out of getting people angry, but yeah... then you lose.
DOWN WITH INTARNET.

If mutated bird-flue doesn't take care of overpopulation, some other new pandemic will.
:p
Sooner or later humans will somehow have to branch out into space. Apart from anything else, shifting certain industries off planet would remove a lot of polution sources from the globe. The downside would be that eventually only the rich and powerful would be able to afford living on planet earth.
So yeah, I'm wondering what this place will be like in 50 years time.
Fingernail on 2/3/2006 at 18:48
oh shit did I really piss you off that much?
Sorry. :(
If it helps, I wasn't in any way trying to enrage you, I was just making a light-hearted (and rather rubbish) LOL WISH U WERE DEAD joke. And then you seemed to rise to it, I just repeated the same joke again.
I do resent the Alchemist coming in to denounce me as a frustrated prick who comes online to enrage others, since I clearly have little of that trend in my posting history and that wasn't even my intention here. Never mind.
Put it this way; will you care when you're 120? I hope not. You probably won't be able to move either, but that's another matter.

the extra 20years of what? Having someone wipe my ass for me? Aches and pains every morning from every stupid thing I did when I was 10 and up? Give me another 20 years of being at least age 30-that'll excite me. Till then give me a better quality of life and let me go quick!
