A significant number of people, either convicted of terrorist offences or who have admitted a guilt or who've been murdered or killed in the carrying out of their terrorist offences, have been right-handed.

Ohgod that's me too :(

Yeah but there's no kind of "right handed dudes" clubs that could facilitate networking or socialising between people. What hand you use doesn't determine where you might be, how you spend your time or who you meet during the day. It doesn't say anything about you, really.

All attending a university means is that you're not a complete numbnut. They don't even tell us what that significant number is (had they said majority at least we could tell it's +50%), for all we know it's the national average and they just find it significant because they're alarmist idiots who assume all terrorists are uneducated religious zealots.

You obviously did not attend my Medical Law and Ethics tutorials. :p But yeah, you could just as easily say that most of them attended high schools/comprehensives/grammar schools, or video game stores, or coffee shops.

Are you at work and really bored? You seem to be present in absolutely all active threads. ;)

There was a time when this was called the "subjective effect". Everyone goes through it for a while, Scots_Taffer underwent a similar period of course, epitomised by the "in before Scots_Taffer" meme.

I'd be stalking every thread on the forum these days if I weren't whoring myself on the PA boards instead (busier forum -> more to read). ;)

Well yeah, knowing the number itself would be good. If it's like 22% then that's not so useful.
I don't get the "all it means is you're not a numbnut" line, tho. Being a student means you're in certain places, and mixing with certain people, on a regular basis. If more terrorists are (for example) students than in full-time employment, we have a better idea of where to focus some of our efforts, surely?
I mean, if 70% of terrorists met at coffee shops every day, then yeah, again that's given us a potentially useful pointer, that "70% of terrorists brush their teeth in the morning" doesn't. I don't mean this is a guaranteed "catch all terrorists" plan, I just think it's the kind of info perhaps worth noting.
