Actually this one I can believe too. Many chemists in real life often stain their fingers interesting colours from time to time when working with various chemicals. I just assumed that I either smelt funny from handling the ickier alchemic components (Mort flesh in particular must reek something fierce) or had stained my hands with the various wild chemistry combos I had been trying.
Yeah, I can understand that, I practically scream "PAINTER!" because about 0% of my clothing is not permanently stained or caked with a variety of bright colors.

Still, Phatose, posting the game's ending in the very first line without any spoiler tages probably isn't a great choice. Sorry to everyone who accidently read it ;)

I figured anyone who worried about spoilers would've immediately concluded there would be some in this thread, simply because if not, it would've been in Oblivion general. But you're the boss.

I agree w/ Phatose.

Yeah, this game needs a "Fallout Dynamite" mod
Naaah, what it needs is a "Napoleon Dynamite" mod.

I find going to the trouble of opening a Very Heavily locked chest and only finding someone's old sandalls or cheap silverware to be very annoying. I break into most houses and find nothing but worthless crap, and the value of gemstones, flawless diamonds that are worth no more than a lousy 100 gold? Seeing shopkeepers with nice items in their inventory that are NOWHERE to be found in either the shop or on their person. I tell you what's the point of being a thief if there's nothing worth stealing?

Eh, yeah, that is pretty annoying. Maybe that's why that made the lockpicking game so darned easy.

Especially once you get the unbreakable Skeleton Key from the Nocturnal quest.
BTW, does the rhythm of the tumblers change on high levels of Security? They certainly seem to fall slower than at Sec 10...
Phatose on 21/4/2006 at 18:33
I don't think there is a rhythym at all. Rather, when you click it, it goes up and down at a random speed, and yes, at higher levels, you get the very very slow speed more often.
