I think what constiutes US bashing is always being in these sorts of threads with these sorts of comments.
What was it you said in the Thanksgiving thread again?
It's not that what you are saying is incorrect, per se, but just your (olol) doggedness about it.
Also, and just for the funny truth of it: Liverpool - European Capital of Culture more like capital of where did I transport all of my slaves to and from lol.

Then be assured that we also don't need you to point out how the war on terror is idiotic, killing puppies is bad, or to make us aware of the AIDS epidemic. We'll ring you however if we need someone to give us the skinny on nicotine being bad or the sham of papal infallibility if we can't figure it out for ourselves.

I'm going to be on the wrong side of this argument, but what he's saying isn't that "the USofGay had slaves and we di'int", but rather "the USofGay built their country on a cornerstone of saying things should be one way, but treating some of their citizens contrary to that ideal."
