I heard that the real reason is they started developing these missions before Thief 2 was released.

that 2 headed guy in city mission was the very scary, i knocked out everyone in castle, except the one guy in metal helmet by final objective, then i released the 2 headed guy got his attention and ran to top of castle and he went another direction and tracked me down and his loud stone golem sounds very brutaly scary, the 2 headed guy knew all the alt route to try to cut me off i was running and jumping so fast and he was right on my heels omg, not sure if it is possible to get him into the main city to see how he would react to citizens???

You guys have played skacky's missions before, right?
I don't know that I have. If they are T1 FMs, then probably not. I haven't played very many FMs, and ones I have were mostly or entirely T2 ones up until BP. It's okay. I found an (

I stopped reading after this line, since the 2nd word was already a spoiler. Spoiler tags are nice

Finally I got my time and finished The Black Parade.
Guys, you are the Keepers of Atmosphere! You are the living proof that real pith and marrow of Thief games is still relevant! None cares about graphics, always first of all is ATMOSPHERE! You earned your honourable place among Thief I, II and T2X and your piece of work will be glorified for eternity and one day more :)
It is really hard to tell which mission was the best. Every of them is wonderful! But my favourite is: the last one, 2nd, 6th and 9th
So now it is high time to add Black Parade section to my Thief Quiz for android

Like some others, I was also waiting to finish a second playthrough before I left comments, but it's been taking me quite a while. There are so many little touches and details that trying to see everything is quite the undertaking, and I bet I've only seen about 50%. I'm not finished with my second run yet, but I've had a great time playing The Black Parade, and I feel very grateful to the creators and the community for its release. I'll be the Nth person to praise the atmosphere and immersion. Amazing ambients and details and effects that pull me into the scenario. Special shoutout to the industrial area in Kept Away from View -- those sounds! And the new enemies and behaviors and other additions kept me on my toes and made the game feel fresh. Just great all around.

All the missions are easily 8+, with 7 - 9 being my favorite. The new enemies and NPC actions such as playing instruments and even dancing are insane to see in the Dark Engine. There is one new feature that I am somewhat confused with. Can someone please explain?
The game description says that the Guards can notice Hume if they bump into him, even in a complete shadow. The guards do "notice" hume, however, it seems they enter a low-level alert and search for a while, if I stay still they keep walking into me like I'm not there and they will resume patrol. Is this how the system is meant to work?

Simple : this line is just about guards when they are not alerted. If they bump into you or if you bump into them, they will say a low alert line and turn around toward the player's position.
And if you bump into them for a third time, they will turn around more quickly and enter in search mode. Nothing more, nothing less ;)

How come the guards keep walking into me when in search mode after bumping into me? it seems like a higher-level search (they look for a long time, but they don't discover me upon touch like what usually happens on a higher alert.

There's something else I've been wondering about the ending of Black Parade. . what happened to the sentient statuette? The readable at the top of the tower in the last mission mentions that using too many of the necrotic ingredients will make the spell backfire and potentially "hurt" the sentient. At the end we see Azaran lurching out of the ritual chamber, but the statuette is nowhere to be seen. Was it destroyed?

What an incredibly good FM. Unbelievable the amount of detail that went into this work. Many thanks to all those involved in creating this.
In Mission 2
The pagan maze had me so turned around it actually invoked a "fight or flight" response in me and I couldn't wait to get out of there!! What "The Sword" could have been. Superb work.
