The very end was
a bit of a let down (Bleak Parade amirite? :p), but doesn't change anything about what a masterpiece this was, made it to my top 5 campaigns of all time
I'm curious, what are those other 4 campaigns?
I too just finished this mod, and it was one of my better gaming experiences this year! Kudos to the creator's of this gem
According to the game it took 19 hours to finish it, but my steam page says otherwise with 33 hours (reloading save's)
I have to admit that I don't play the thief games a lot lately, but when I do, I usually replay them in this natural order T1 > T2 > T2X and T3 (most of the time). When the inevitable time will come, I will definitely add The Black Parade in there as well
I am also wondering if there are any secrets or easter egg's in here that I missed? Like the basketball, dancing zombies, secret office or bow upgrade? :sly:
I found the holy sword upgrade, which was difficult to obtain but well worth the effort in the end :thumb:

I dug out my old TTLG account I haven't used in years to post my appreciation. This campaign is truly fantastic! I have played over a thousand hours of Thief, and quite probably over a hundred FMs, and this is quite probably my favourite, and I haven't even finished yet ~75% of the way through, and don't want it to end. My two favourite things are: firstly, the beautiful artistic style of many locations -and typically I wouldn't exactly consider Thief Gold to look pretty, so I am very impressed. Secondly, the level design and variety, particularly the undead levels - I am in the minority I know but I do love good undead levels.
An absolutely stunning labour of love bringing me renewed enjoyment for my favourite game series, thank you for all your hard work :)

That was awesome! Thank you for writing, publishing and sharing! I like how you wrapped it up with Thron's comments. Warm hugs all around. :)
And kudos for the screenshots, as well. So often when I see screenshots of Thief on gaming sites they're horribly composed, overbright and washed out, making an old game look even older than it is and missing its richly dark atmosphere.

I have been LOVING this map pack so far and have made it to The Long Shadow Falls but I seem to be having a huge issue in it.
The alarm is seemingly going off at random and at nothing. No guards know where I am or have found the body's I hid. I even backtracked to all the areas I stored bodys in and no one comes by them, hell I even get alarmed while back in the sewers. I do have an early save but I try not to save too often and its a bit ways back. Is that a common issue people have had?

One reason could be something mentioned in the FM's own thread (which is probably where this should have been posted), which is that the gem was frobbed & stolen inadvertently through the glass without opening it, while the alarm system was turned off, then when it automatically turns back on, the alarm will trigger as if at random. And the solution was evidently opening the glass and closing it again so the alarm logic works properly and that doesn't happen.
I suppose it's also possible that you were just seen or heard from another distant room and the guard pressed the alarm so it just seems random.
