Did you disable all mods? What FM loader are you using?
Regarding the "ghost binding" issue: I doubt that has anything to do with The Black Parade. You might want to post about it in the TFix thread over in the Thief Mods & Utilities subforum.

Guys, i'm facing strange situation. At first i thought it's some random hiccup, but now it happened again. At some point game just freeze. Ambient sound goes on with some silent gaps, but picture is frozen. If i minimize the game, switch to task manager, and then go back game relives, but not for long.

It would take many paragraphs to detail all the specific ways why The Black Parade is of the highest quality. But anybody who knows anything about Thief or has spent some length of time immersed in the franchise and/or on this site understands that. A 10-paragraph glowing review could be distilled down to "play it and you'll see why it's good."
To Feuillade Industries... those of us that don't work on missions, we don't have a true sense of the specific sacrifices that are required for a project of this scale, but we can appreciate what a huge commitment during your off hours it must have been. For a significant portion of your life! We are very grateful that you chose to do that, THANK YOU.
Three missions last weekend, and then the final seven missions in the last 48 hours(!). Just finished up. It was a really enjoyable marathon. One of the best moment-to-moment gaming experiences of 2023.

You need to make sure the patches in the cam mod ini file is active and working. The patch usually comes with tfix its the INTRFACE.CRF on patches folder.
A question for the other more knowledgeable guys does the OSM scrips clash with BP? I am disabling them works fine so far.

snd\garrettAgreed, the chesty exhale sounds for mantling were oddly grating, so I replaced them with the Garrett originals. Hume inhale, Garrett exhale. It's much better that way.

Oh, interesting idea! I edited a lot of sounds in that directory already and in a quick test it was so much better for me! I didn't touch the sword impact type sounds and similar ones, as I like those to be jarring/startling. (I kept a backup of the touched files in case I need to bring them back and re-tweak any.)
I got a free trial of Goldwave audio (since I never used Audacity before) then cut the volume level in half for about 75% of the files in that directory. (I reached the limit of saves allowed in the free trial; I'll probably buy it at some point, unless Audacity is better?) Also did some fade ins/fade outs for some parts, equalizer-lowered the two highest frequencies (6000Hz and 15kHz?) because I didn't like some of the saliva/throat sounds, and maybe pitched down (from C to B while retaining tempo) on some files to deepen the voice a tiny bit. The voice doesn't sound as crystal clear now... and maybe a bit thru a speakerphone or can? I will have to listen again. But in game, it may be imperceptible. Either way, it is fine for me, so far. Note: I heard someone say before that in voiceover stuff, in general, it is good to compress the vocals a bit anyways, which I never knew until I heard that. Now when I listen to GTA/RDR and other games, it is quite evident they compress the vocals somehow, some way, to not be as high-fidelity... on purpose for acoustic reasons, not necessarily just to save on file sizes.
I saw the voice artist's name in the .txt file of that or another directory and googled him. Wow, he has done a lot of stuff for the Thief community! Very cool! I definitely feel bad for editing the files to make them a bit softer, but I think that is much more due to some subtle sound engineering tweaks maybe being necessary as opposed to any problems with the voicework itself.

This might be a really silly thing to ask but is there any way I can hide/remove the spiders in this FM pack? I've been using the (
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148517) Spider Hider mod for years and it's worked perfectly for every FM except this one, I was really looking forward to playing but had to quit in the first level when I heard the spider noises in the attic............. I know the one up there is just a little one, but I'm arachnophobic to the point that the sfx alone sets me off so it's not likely that I'll be able to power through, knowing what comes later in the pack (from a cursory ctrl+f of the thread so far) :'x
(I don't mind the reduced difficulty without them there, I just want to be able to play it at all! haha)
