PS: For anyone playing on Linux wondering if this would work, I played it through GE-proton (the GOG version installed with Heroic Game Launcher), and my only issue was with the water texture like everyone, simply editing the cam_mod.ini to remove all mods fixed it. Regarding bugs, only had one npc walking against a wall once through the all game.
I'm also on Linux, through Steam with tfix applied, and it's been perfect - essentially the same as on Windows except alt-tab is reliable.

Messer Halleford:
Who built Messer Halleford's place? Is it the same architect that built
Constantine's? Is he an important
Order of the Vine member or just a very eccentric and rich
pagan?
In general, I wondered about all the pagan themed elements in the world. Made me wonder if the Hammers lost some of their influence in the city. ;)

This has been their trademark ever since way back (compacted, ultra-detailed, labyrinthine), and as strongly as I'm enjoying this campaign, it's honestly my primary negative here. It all kind of blends together even with their standalone FMs. T2X by contrast was elevated by how unforgettably distinct each level was in their design signature.
I never played T2X, but, yes, I agree with what you say.
Mission 9 actually had the right approach, it was very distinctive up to some point, but, then it started that crazy hardcore complex thing again, and became a melange of a bit of everything.
Again, I'm sure that it's pretty impressive, technically, but, it's simply less playable, and less memorable. A bit less is more would have been better.

Where is Garrett during the events of The Black Parade? What was he doing in 833 besides
stealing the Gems of Sarnoth (assuming it was him)He is doing his own thing. ;)
Several other FMs happen around this time. The closest ones in time are The Sound of a Burrick, which takes place shortly before TBP, Between These Dark Walls, which takes place during it, and Endless Rain, which takes place shortly afterwards.Quote Posted by Chronicler

Halleford may or may not be an acquaintance of Constantine and/or Viktoria, with all that it implies.Quote Posted by Chronicler
What or who is it actually?
No comment on that one. :cheeky:

Congrats on the release! Just recently started
For me, the mantling grunts and some other Hume vocals are a little distractingly loud compared to surrounding audio or the moments they signify, so I'm editing their volumes lower. Found the files here, if anyone's curious:

Nice! I've caught some references in TBP about some other FMs, like a very obvious one about
The Whistling Of The Gears. What about The Chalice Of Souls, Ascend The Dim Valley? I know Lost Among The Forsaken has direct references to TBP's plot as I remember reading some note about
some thieves that guard the way to The Sealed Quarter, where they dump bodies, talking about having to let people dressed in cloaks and robes (Azaran's followers?) go into The Sealed Quarter. Now we know for what reasons :) Regarding Halleford's connection to Constantine and Victoria, is there any reference in the second mission about that possibility? Can't remember but that's really interesting! The statue: will we ever find out who or what it is? Maybe I missed something in the plotThanks anyway! I'll have to play it all over again with closer attention this time

Isn't the statue something like the Eye in TDP? Simply a very powerful artifact, which works in a specific way, and has its own character, and its own motives.

Hello,
I'm on mission 6, great stuff so far.
However, I experience a lot of crash right now. It started on mission 5, basically there is 2 sorts of crash :
- Sometimes the game starts to slowdown, it happens mostly when there is a lot a things on screen, on high vantage points for exemple, the game crashes to desktop shortly afterward.
- Mostly though crashes happen when I open the map, press escape, or frob a readable. The game reverts do 640x480 and an error alert informs me than my video driver are not supported. Then when I launch back the game it is in 640x480 and I have to put back 1080p in the options.

I just started playing this today, taking my time, only halfway through first mission right now. In spite of a couple minor rough edges, I'm quite impressed so far, and I gotta say, it's really bringing back the magic I felt from way back in 1998, which is saying something!

dirk: im using tfix lite already and still have this messy settings pages... the main screen is fine, with the pretty candle and window... its confusing how this only happens with this mission... all other fms and the main game are fine... any other ideas? any ideas about the ghost binding for screenshot?
