I've been trying to learn 2D Shape Editor and... some of the functions do not work.
File> Image> Get From Current Texture ---> CRASH! (after Importing All MatLibs and selecting one texture)
Revolved / Extruded Shape /Extude to Point / Extude to Bevel > dialogue window appears and there are NO brush size (depth, cap height, for example) options. Only OK.
Is that the same with everyone?
It is not very important. One can live without these functions. I just want to know if everything is OK with my T3Ed installation.

same here.
If you simple want to extrude a brush then it's fine because you just have to vertex ed it to the right size, for the others, it's a bit harder.

If it's anything like UEd3's regular 2d editor (I never played with T3Ed's), then From Current Texture will invariably crash it.
I quickly discovered in UEd that the only way to use a texture reference for the 2d shape editor is to export the texture you want as a .bmp and load it from disk.
