Gosh I haven't written in here for a while. I'm not even sure this is the right sub forum.

Hi all,
Of all the great aspects of Thief games, for me ambience is the most cherished one. I have had this idea of recording my favourite ambient moments from various fan missions for a while in the style of (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YldDifLUGdo&ab_channel=scoop) The Black Parade Ambience Compilation. I started about a month ago, learning how to record and compose footage into a larger movie. While doing The Black Parade, I returned to some old ones like The 7th Crystal and T2X. It made me realise that we have had a 25 year history of creative storytelling trough the Dark and NewDark engines. I would respectfully like to share my work.

This is a video showcase of some of the awesome ambient moments Thief fan missions portray. I have kept it safe by recording clips only from missions I have played multiple times. The ones included here are only a tiny slice of the pie. Optional captions tell a few details about the mission being currently displayed. I wanted to do a 30 minute history of Thief content, touching on campaigns and contests. But with all the missions I cut from the final video I still ended up with a 52 minute compilation. If you are too worried about spoilers, turn the captions off.

I would like to express my gratitude to all creators and fans that keep the series alive.

I was going to say the same! The atmosphere is truly outstanding, and it reminded my that I still have to play The Black Parade.
