It's true that the decline of the "what shall we do with ttlg.com" idea and concepts was a little disheartening.
I guess if the Admins don't have the time to act on that stuff, maybe they need some new admins to help?

There was that moment back when GBM was asking for new designs for the main page but it all just petered out. Shame.
TTLG could be great again!! :p

I don't know about that, it's not a useful goal in any case to aim for some kind of greatness at this point. But TTLG could be a dignified home for those that come here, instead of a big old dusty ghost house, riddled with bugs and doors that lead nowhere and the occasional calls resonating down empty halls. ZB provided a good plan on how to shrink the forums 10 months ago. The frontpage...well everyone knows that and what to do about it. Add the bugfixes to the theme and TTLG would be decent. All of this together would take no more than a few hours.

While I'd argue that some of what Kolya has posted in this thread overreaches a bit (despite having a core of truth beneath it), I do think that this quote sums up my current take on TTLG pretty well. TTLG isn't what it once was and that's actually for the most part fine, although we could stand to clean it up a bit into a healthy and maintained smaller forum.
My posting will probably continue to ebb and flow depending on what's going on in my life, but TTLG is my online home and it is where I will continue to return.
