WORST:
1. This thread
Any other suggestions?
Personally, I've found myself regularly checking this (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126456) thread about the Dark engine source code discovery - the thread itself started in 2009 but it's only recently reached its exciting peak.
All in all, Commchat has been somewhat lacklustre, and in March we had this Forums & Network gem by Kolya, (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131245), a veritable eruption of the barely-suppressed tension that seems to exist in the minds of some users. Typical "idiot seeks help, gets flamed" resulted in some memorable moments, such as duckman's SEXUAL FRUSTRATION disaster, (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133488), but on reflection it was rather by-the-numbers, lacking any truly inspired angles.
On the plus side, there were some bits of creative sharing, a few short films, fett was always a good read, and Vivian managed to create a series of threads which, if not attracting loads of replies, brought a few pieces of interest, especially from his field of expertise, which I doubtless otherwise would have missed.
The megathreads trundled on regardless of current events. Did we have a thread about the Chilean miners? I can't find it???!!??!
I think my forum member of the year is Queue. Well done Queue.
But on a more serious note, I think the way Zaccheus has dealt with his illness even up to the latest bad news has been pretty inspiring.

For me the ongoing Thread of the Year has been Zach's thread about his illness; it's been one of the few "real" threads recently (even though it wasn't started recently).
There haven't been any controversial threads this year (that I can remember) that drew a lot of discussion. Not like the religious or animal rights threads we've had in the past, or the good political ones (plenty of boring politics this and last year).
Queue has also been my poster of the year and I've missed Stitch, Scots, SD and GBM all of whom post much less than they should.

Worst of 2010: commchat, pretty much every discussion in here has been Cæk
Best personal moment of 2010: leaving the godforsaken state of Oklahoma. If you've ever played Borderlands, its a pretty accurate portrayal of what that state is like (minus the robots).

Fuck you people for making CommChat have four threads all starting with 2010 on the top. It's like some desperate end of year catalogue sale or something.

For what it's worth I did it like that to parody Sypha's. And also I am desperate.
Yeah, the TBE thread is good. God dammit, dethtoll.

somebody tag that again because I can't.

What the fuck does that have to do with threads on this forum? Put it on your blog. RBJ is right. You really do have great difficulty in understanding the simplest things.

There's probably a reason for that, you pass-aggress nancy.

I know, I just wanted to hate on Oklahoma a bit.
Best thread would have to be the Youtube thread, since its the only thread where TTLG members actually posted anything useful to other members.
