The wife and I may go to the Celtic Fest in Jackson this weekend. There is definitely a goth contingent but mostly it's about the music, bands like Kula and Spirits of the House. There will be the youngsters batting each other with swords and silver skull and celtic knot jewelry stands and fried pickle and Scots beer and the like. There will be a whisky tasting where I'll see an old buds dad who is a local rep which is a bonus what with him being an old Toccopolite like myself.
What is a little silly pirate wench visagoth princess mishmash on occasion where there is good beer and good tunes? I've thought of doing a bit of chainmail and slit helmet skullduggery myself if I didn't cook like tin of tuna on a car hood. Definitely leave the chainmail thong at home though.
