The new Future of the Left is fantastic. HEALTH may be gits but "Die Slow" is incredible.

Ach, its true. I love their records. It was just a bit kind of.... annoying, watching them. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Is the Future of the Left out then? Brill!

Out on the internet, although Falco might dedicate a future internet screed to his hatred of you if you download it.
Edit: Also, a bit more on Faith No More reunited: fuck me, what an appalling development. They managed to avoid embarrassment by a hair when they threw in the towel in 1998. They were already flirting with irrelevant self parody but thankfully pulled the trigger before slipping on that ring, I can't imagine 2009 is going to treat them any more kindly. It's not like their legend has grown any during the past eleven years, if anything it was fucked beyond belief by the rap metal bands that came in their wake.
Great bands need to stay in the past where they were a vital part of the moment, nobody needs to see fatter and older rockstars rolling out their hits by the yard, a good twenty years removed from the headspace in which they were written.

Interesting, I thought Faith No More's reunion would be a good thing in people's eyes. I don't want them to create new material, but seeing them will be amazing. They're all very much alive and kicking, so it should be great. Considering their career, all their albums have had filler in annoying quantity, but the good songs - they're really good.
Then again, without the reunion I wouldn't have had chance to see them at all. Biased prolly.

No one has mentioned David Cook, and I for one am shocked and horrified. Come on people... Seriously WTF!?
He is playing at Common Ground in July for fucks-sake--that career is a soarin'!

Every time there's a music-related thread at the forums I always feel the urge to buy more CDs....*sighs*
My poor wallet...
Also, my last two buys:
* The Grateful Dead - American Beauty.
* Queen - Queen II.
:)

I just don't see it. Faith No More, great as they were, never really amassed that large a following. What are they going to do, climb on stage and play a two-hour version of "Epic?"

Isn't that all they ever did?

Angel Dust was one of the 90's best albums.

No way. It was Frogstomp by Silverchair.
