I made a resolution list last year and it didn't pan out, or at least I managed very little that I set out to do (and was largely aware that this would be the case due to my crippling procrastination), this year I've vowed not to look at it like a few things to be done but rather a change to the way I live my life.
The procrastination and subsequent laziness is largely derived from my sleeping patterns, I reckon. Staying up late faffing about then waking up late and getting into work late, having that fuzziness stick with me through the day, not achieving much and feeling vaguely fatigued despite having done nothing. This may sound like depression and maybe I even thought it was for a while, but it's not - it's just inactivity that breeds that sort of malcontent.
So, I've decided that I'm going to bed early and getting up early starting on Monday this week. Getting into work on time actually awake and refreshed, getting through tasks, and now, throwing exercise into the mix hopefully challenging my body and mind.
Other goals that I'm aiming to stick to throughout the year and beyond are:
- drinking less in general
- eating less fatty foods
- positivity
- working hard for what I want and not waiting for it to happen itself, from work to hobbies

How about you?

Be less of an asshole.
I figure since I never keep my resolutions anyway I might as well be honest about it.

I vow to post 14 times a day until I catch up with all the other post whores.

fitter, happier, more productive, comfortable, not drinking too much, regular exercise at the gym (3 days a week)

I plan to develop my gin habit - Queen Mum style, go dancing as much as I can and get off with a lot of women. And I can say I've kept my resolutions so far. How about you?
Furthermore I plan to outlive each and everyone of you with this lifestyle, just to annoy you. But that's more of a long term goal.

-Exercise More. Admittedly this resolution started around October, and has started to bear fruit, but I need to stick with it. And start riding my bike to work as soon as the time change hits.
-Get Out More. Means what it says, really. Too much time spent at home doing not much.
-Find some way of getting at least 3 more dollars an hour so I can...
-Get a new car and/or my own place. This is the hard one. I really need a new car, but I'm also getting quite desperate to get my own place, and given the price of apartments, (especially within my required distance to work) it's one or the other.
First two are the more attainable ones.

Make it to 2010.
I will contact you.
Seriously, don't you get a tiny bit bored when you read a bunch of relatively young guys talk about how they all plan to become healthy, happy and productive? What else? Kick that nasty TTLG habit? I know life will get in the way for most of you, so I'm not worried too much. But still, it's a bit scary.

For a lot of people it's honestly a more genuinely fulfilling way to live. I know my own procrastination hurts more than just my hobbies and aspirations.
It's not like my goals for 09 are:
- conform
- pay taxes
- obey the law
That's boring.
