Obama can't keep his lies straight, and his past is shaky at best, what with his ties to known terrorists and radical muslims.
Yeah i hear he once ate a sandwich in the same shop as some dude who lived next door to a terrorist in the 60s.

Dawgonit Obama was working on education reform in Chicago, Ayres is Distinguished Professor of Education at Chicago University. Do you know what, it is right and proper that they met and there is no implication that Obama has sprouted terrorist links for the very simple reason that Ayres is not a terrorist.
Christ on a non-issue do you also suppose that students who go through Chicago also have links to terrorism by association? In Ireland we have former members of the IRA in parliament. Past is past. Oh and before you start, shut the fuck up with your cynical attempts to manipulate 9/11 sensitivities to drive a divisive wedge through your country; patriotism my arse. Vietnam Protests and Weatherman was 40 years ago and are neither related or comparable to al-Qaida.
Neither does attending a party function where a muslim guy is speaking link you to radicalism. Aside from everything else Husainy cannot by any measure be considered a radical cleric, he's a moderate who fund raises to build schools in Detroit. Being critical of US's failed post war strategy in Iraq does not automatically align yourself with the axis of evil. If it does then you can count most of the US, not to mention the world among those ranks.
There are important things going on in the US and abroad, stop letting yourselves get hoodwinked by this shit.

I never said nor implied that Obama was a terrorist.
Obama's stepfather raised him around mosques known to harbor terrorists (aka radical muslims), and was known to be involved with such people, not just know them cause they happened to attend the same mosque.
This is fact, not conjecture or conspiracy theory. I've never heard of Ayers until you mentioned him.
Before you hold up this Ayers guy as some pillar of the community, I suggest you read this:
(

Do I think these connections make Obama himself a terrorist? No, of course not.
Is he a liar? Big time. I recently saw a clip on tv from an interview he did, where the interviewer caught Obama in a lie about his religion. First Obama said he "my muslim religion", and in the next sentence he said "my christian religion." The interviewer called him on it, and Obama asserted that he was christian.
Now personally, I don't give a damn about any religion. It's all bunk anyway and it has no place in politics. But it's obvious that Obama is trying to hide his past and he's told so many lies that he can't keep them straight.
It's still not even known for sure if Obama is a natural born American citizen, and if he isn't, then he can't be President.
Anyone who thinks Obama's past is spotless and he's innocent of anything seriously needs to open their eyes and do a little research.

There is a simpler, altogether more plausible explanation. It may, just possibly, have been a slip of the tongue following a conversation about various obama=muslim conspiracies. A slip of the tongue is not the same thing as a lie: I think you know that.
I'm well aware of Ayres past connections with weatherman thankyou, if you read my post you'll get that. The fact is that Weatherman ceased to exist more than 30 years ago and these days Ayres is a senior Professor of Education, a recognised expert in his field and there is absolutely nothing amiss about any candidate having had professional associations with him. Obama has released a statement very clearly condemning the violent acts of the Weatherman group in case you were wondering if he harboured sympathies.
As far as I know Obama was born in Hawaii and his child hood is well documented and does not suggest any links to radicalised clerics, only that he spent some of his childhood (between the ages of 6 - 10) in Indonesia, a predominantly muslim country. I can find nothing to suggest that his step father Lolo was aligned with terrorists, only geologists (unsavory, admittedly) and that he was by all accounts an agreeable chap who liked drinking and mischief.
You're not dumb, you're not doing yourself any favours championing or aspiring to other people's ignorance. Perhaps we could continue this in the politics thread?

If that's enough to convince you then you're probably gullible enough to believe that McCain's omg secret agenda is to take away all of our liberties as is evidenced by the fact that he referred to all of us as "his fellow prisoners" in PA yesterday.

You're probably also gullible enough to believe that Sean Hannity actually IS an anti-semite because he had one on his show.

There's nothing to continue discussing. I have my opinions and you have yours. Nothing we say to each other will change those opinions.

Hannity needs to be shot regardless of who is on his show. As do most people at Fox News.

Hannity is a character. For all of his preening and odd sort of filial piety he couldn't help nearly coming to tears and storming off the set when Neil Boortz kept calling him "baby Jesus".

The last resort of an intellectual lightweight.

This one is so CaptSyn can have some company: (

(It's someone going around a McCain/Palin rally asking questions like "Is Barack Obama a terrorist?")
I'd also like to ask how Obama can be a muslim communist radical christian who believes in black liberation theology all at the same time.
