I'm voting McCain to troll all my friends.
Obama will win anyways, so it's alright to throw my vote out to McCain for laughs.

Careful with that, elections are not a game.
It's not over until it's over. Don't become complacent. If you're for Obama, vote for him. If you're for someone else, vote for someone else. Don't waste your vote.

Maybe he lives in California. A recent poll here puts Obama up 56% to 33%, which includes a 60-32 lead among women (Sarah who?) and a 49-41 lead in the central valley, which usually leans red. The only region he hasn't won over is the land of the OC Republicans.
(Ok really I just wanted an excuse to post those numbers, even if that poll turns out to be an outlier)

Obama looks to be leading in NC, which tickles me to no end. Perhaps my vote will actually count for the first time in my life (in national elections at least).

REASONS TO VOTE McCAIN:
1. Halburton needs the money.
2. You make over 250k and let them eat cake the bums they hardly ever shine your shoes and call you sir.
3. You wish you did and think if you fellate enough corporate pecker you can cash in your soul for way more than it's worth.
4. Trickle down is going to work any day now just wait.
5. Rush Limbaugh told you Obama will give all your money to hippies and he knows because vicodan makes him clairvoyant.
6. Fox news is fair and balanced and not at all a bought and paid for corporate shill.
7. Only by giving tax breaks to companies that ship thier factories overseas can we keep them from shipping thier factories overseas.
8. 10 trillion debt doesn't matter when you have enough to move elsewhere.
9. Obama will give you the gay.
10. He will also take away your gun and it's hard to hit anything from the Texas book depository with a slingshot.
I'm sorry. It just slipped. I made the mistake of listening to rightwing radionutso today.

The numbers for today at (
http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/search/label/today%27s%20polls) The 538 show MASSIVE gains for Obama pretty much everywhere. He went up around 13 points in Ohio, and they're giving a 97.3 percent chance of Obama winning.

See, (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kYsF1MerAY) this is why people
used to think John McCain was a sensible, minimally partisan, decent candidate.
Quote:
Girl: "...Why is it that someone like my father, who goes to school for 13 years, gets penalized in a huge tax bracket because he's a doctor? Why is that -- why does he have to pay higher taxes than everybody else, just because he makes more money? Why -- how is that fair?"
McCain: "...I think it's to some degree because we feel, obviously, that wealthy people can afford more... But I believe that when you really look at the tax code today, the very wealthy, because they can afford tax lawyers and all kinds of loopholes, really don't pay nearly as much as you think they do when you just look at the percentages. And I think middle-income Americans, working Americans, when the account and payroll taxes, sales taxes, mortgage pay -- all of the taxes that working Americans pay, I think they -- you would think that they also deserve significant relief, in my view.
...
Girl: "... Are we getting closer and closer to, like, socialism and stuff, when you have -- you have some people paying 60 percent overall in a year of their money to taxes. That's their money, not the government's. How is that fair? I haven't understood it."
McCain: "So, look, here's what I really believe, that when you are -- reach a certain level of comfort, there's nothing wrong with paying somewhat more... And frankly, I think the first people who deserve a tax cut are working Americans with children that need to educate their children, and they're the ones that I would support tax cuts for first."
ps: meanwhile Michelle Bachmann is now losing in polls of the race she was supposed to easily win.

Hell yeah buddy! I live in NC too :D
It's strange to think that we might actually be blue on the map this year. But from the looks of the neighborhoods near my house, it doesn't seem that way. Mccain signs everywhere.
