No thanks. The "Dear Leader" doesn't really appeal to me.
Of course, I won't be voting for McInsane either.

(

"Even in this room full of proud Manhattan Democrats I can't escape the feeling that some are pulling for me...I'm delighted to see you here tonight Hillary!"

What you may not know is that Barack is Swahili for "that one"...
And I got my middle name from someone who obviously didn't think I'd ever run for president.
Holy shit also :D don't cheat yourself out of watching McCain's.

I found that I simply didn't get half of McCain's jokes.

I thought he done good. What I can't square is the difference between the jovial, self-deprecating McCain at the charity bash and the McCain who is running a campaign that I can only charitably call utterly dishonorable. At least one of those persona is, I suspect, an act.

McCain looked like he was gnawing off his own tongue with a good natured mask on during Obama's roasting, whereas during his own delivery, well, essentially you're mercilessly mocking the other candidate in a forum where you can get away with it and I think McCain was just fine with that.
There was less self-deprecation in the McCain speech than the Obama one, I thought. And just generally, Obama's zingers against the McCain camp were just as funny as his own admissions.
Thief13x on 19/10/2008 at 00:59
it was only funny because McCain was making himself look like a fool and George Bush does this all to well. Just think of this as a omen of the 4 years to come! (if McCain gets elected which will never happen)

Well, the results are in... Obama is up with a 60% lead, which means that Obama will be our next president. Definitively.
Unless it gets down to another recount, in which case it is not a coincidence and there is definite corruption and somebody needs to get taken care of mob style
