Wait so you're saying if you saw a birth certificate then it'd be fine and you'd have no more arguments against him being an natural born citizen?
Something like (
http://www.backdrifts.co.uk/BO_Birth_Certificate.jpg) this then?
Edit: please prove me wrong when I think that "facts" and "proof" will mean nothing to you and you'll carry on grasping at any straws in an effort to carry on believing whatever stupid bollocks you want
Apparently you are the one who believes whatever he sees posted on the net. What proof can you present that the certificate at your link is the real deal? You can't.
I've seen that one and 1 other. The other one was definitely a fake made from his sister's birth certificate. Haven't been able to find the link to it again. I think it's been taken down.
Until I see Obama himself holding up his birth certificate and letting cameras get a nice close shot of it, and the info on it can be backed up by the state of Hawaii
OR
If the state of Hawaii steps up on their own and presents solid evidence to the media...
then any birth certificates posted on the net are deemed to be fake.
I can fake a birth certificate as good as anyone. I've certainly faked other official documents, so I know it's easy to do. And I have minimal skill with photo editing apps.
Now, I'm not saying that particular one is fake, but I'm not saying it's real either for the reason I stated above.
I'm also not saying that Obama or anyone in his family has made a forged certificate. He still hasn't proven that he is a natural born US citizen.
And neither have you.
That's just plain funny.

Would you demand the same of a white candidate named Alfred Smith, also born in Hawaii in the same time as Obama?
I think not.
No. In fact, you'd somehow find that guy more trustworthy and give him all the benefits of the doubt.
The legitimacy of his citizenship wouldn't even cross your mind!!!
Think about that!

Isn't the burden of proof on those trying to prove that what appears to be the case, isn't?
If this proof existed, do you not think that the Republicans - who, if I'm honest, are probably the least principled group of people on planet Earth - would have trumpeted its existence from the rooftops by now? Or do you think they're going to surprise us on election day?

If Alfred Smith's citizenship status was never put in question to begin with, then no, I wouldn't question it.
My opinion has nothing to do with Obama being black. This is the first time I know of where a candidate's citizenship status has been questioned, and I certainly didn't start the issue.
I simply want to know the truth, which so far has been intentionally hidden by Obama himself, and cannot possibly be provided by anyone around here.
And for this I'm "grasping at straws" ?
I'm the only one here who isn't grasping at straws. So far I've been accused of being a banjo player, racist, a crybaby, and a conspiracy theorist with absolutely no evidence of any sort supporting any of those claims.
Grasping at straws indeed. Hypocrites.

Real brilliant. You can't put up a solid argument, so you spam the place.
Grow up.
Starrfall on 15/10/2008 at 23:55
Your arguments have not been particularly solid sir.

I'm beginning to get paranoid that you're ignoring me on purpose. Say it ain't so. How about that (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1778955#post1778955) wager then...
Thing is, if you go looking you can find arguments to support just about any position in the whole wide world ever and then quite a lot of superfluous ones besides. Clearly they can't all be right all the time. What those of us who don't have the time, means or inclination to fly out to Kenya and do our own thorough investigation need is a means of doing a qualitative assessment of the various arguments flying around: whether the source is reputable or authoritative for example or whether or not the arguments are consistent, reasonable or logical perhaps. A friendly academic wager is a nice way of saying, yeah - I've looked at this and my judgement is that I think these sources are dependable.
So how about it?

You know, perhaps Dan should take at look at the front page and see if there is a reason hicks are mistaking this place for a ho-down.
