If McCain wins I'm moving to a different planet.

But Go-odd, if you don't make McCain win all of the other gods will think they're better than you!
Quote Posted by Rev. Arnold Conrad
"I would also pray, Lord, that your reputation is involved in all that happens between now and November, because there are millions of people around this world praying to their god — whether it's Hindu, Buddha, Allah — that his opponent wins, for a variety of reasons," Conrad said.
"And Lord, I pray that you would guard your own reputation, because they're going to think that their god is bigger than you, if that happens. So I pray that you will step forward and honor your own name with all that happens between now and Election Day," he said.

That makes me sad.
This makes me happy, I know its not a common thing but still, I can wish. Obama and the guy who is holding the sign have the perfect expression, I'd like to see a lot more of that.

I didn't notice that before.

I'm not voting for either of them, but I always buy a gun as a consolation prize when a Democrat wins a presidential election. Obama is so far left that I've decided to buy two.
If things get REALLY bad you can always try moving to (

You all assume that the President holds some sort of power greater than he really does. In fact the President isn't really all that powerful. Granted he has veto power and a few other perks but for the most part he represents the face of a nation, that and the position acts like a scapegoat for all of washington. In reality the president really doesn't make any decision without the aid of his cabinet, or at least any president worth their salt wouldn't. So really you should be looking at who these idiots are picking for their cabinet, that and whether you trust them to make good decisions when it comes to foreign policy which is where they make most of their decisions. Cause frankly the President isn't going to do shit to affect the economy except in rare cases. We just need to kill off the oil companies get clean energy and fix our economy and we'll be ok:eww: .

That is the way it is
supposed to work.
That is not the way it actually does work.

Hatching:
So would you propose that we just vote for the corporations that run shit through various lobbyists instead?

What do our opponents mean when they apply to us the label "Liberal?" If by "Liberal" they mean, as they want people to believe, someone who is soft in his policies abroad, who is against local government, and who is unconcerned with the taxpayer's dollar, then ... we are not that kind of "Liberal." But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."
