No, 2nd district here. Deep in Ah-mon country where I don't hear too much about Brown/Mcclintock (4th district)honestly.
You probably allready know about the hubbub regarding Brown over some donations from Rangel and Pelosi since the two are facing campaign fraud allegations..and we all know that carpet-bagging never makes things any easier for anyone, even here in the north state where conservatives and liberals are fairly evenly distributed.

What a hilarious about-face. I wonder what they expect to accomplish with this. They are pissing off their hardcore supporters, and anyone with half a brain will notice the complete change of tone, but the independents (see: stupid people) might just have a short enough memory and attention span that they might have time to forget what the last 6 months were like by voting day.
It will be interesting to see, as a political science experiment, if this has any effect. I kind of hoped they were going to keep digging their fucking grave, but I guess maybe they are smarter than that (just not smart enough to have done it sooner before enticing race-mobs).

Less foaming, more objectivity. That goes doubly in regards to your response to the Taheri post.
I might have been being a dick (something at this point I really don't feel bad about, I hope you like what you people have done to me) but I don't see whats so obviously non-objective about what I said. Its more objective to give someone the benefit of the doubt when there is literally
no evidence (yet) to link him to a claimed misdeed.
You might be a fairly decent guy who isn't believing everything that he hears, but posting that kind of thing as if its anything other than a smear is just as bad as believing it. By all accounts, Starreh's linked article was much more reputable, and presented a much less lopsided version of the affair than yours. I wouldn't like to believe that of Obama, but that doesn't mean I can't. I just can't just because some guy says so, because at this point thats
all there is.

See, I am doing just that.
The only reason I posted any of those links was because of how amusing it is to see the same folks both decry and champion equally questionable scoops on the respective candidates based solely on their own partisanship.
Think about it. Very few of these attacks (from either camp) have really been proven to have any merit as of yet...but the support has been very lopsided, which would well echo in reverse if more conservatives posted in this forum. This is most likely not an easily made observation for one who would blindly label Independents as "stupid people".
In the end, internet personas are great outlets for this sort of thing...I certainly don't take any of this stuff personally, and I hope you don't either.

Is he a liar? Big time. I recently saw a clip on tv from an interview he did, where the interviewer caught Obama in a lie about his religion. First Obama said he "my muslim religion", and in the next sentence he said "my christian religion." The interviewer called him on it, and Obama asserted that he was christian.
Obama is a Christian.
Here's a larger piece of that interview so you can put that quote in context. It wasn't even a slip up if you actually listen how he leads into it.

it's obvious that Obama is trying to hide his past and he's told so many lies that he can't keep them straight.
It's still not even known for sure if Obama is a natural born American citizen, and if he isn't, then he can't be President.
Anyone who thinks Obama's past is spotless and he's innocent of anything seriously needs to open their eyes and do a little research.
Hmmm. You've rattled off every right wing talking point against Obama, all of which have been debunked by reputable news sources.

The birth certificate thing is laughable. You're grabbing at straws. Why? Gee, what is it about Obama that bothers you? I wonder what it is???
Let me ask you a question. If Hillary Clinton was running instead of Obama, would you vote for her?
Did you vote for her in your state's Democratic primary?

As he (CaptSyn) basically endorsed Ron Paul a few posts back I'd assume that he is ideologically opposed. Have you ever asked white liberals why they didn't vote for Alan keyes?

Well then I want him to say:
"Obama is promising too much. His programs will cost too much and increase the government. Its not the direction I want to take country."
OR
"While Obama does want to end the Iraq War, he also wants to increase troops in Afghanistan. I believe we should end our engagements on both fronts"
These are pretty much the ONLY two marginally valid arguments against Obama in favor of Ron Paul.
But we didn't hear those.
No. Instead we hear about how he's a liar, he's not possibly a citizen, he's corrupt, he's a Muslim. All this is just code for
Obama is Black. And I'm fucking sick of it.
And to answer your question, no I wouldn't question a white liberal's vote against Alan Keyes.
But I don't think this is the case with CaptSyn.
My gut tells me he was a Hillary Clinton supporter that now, despite Hillary's bold endorsement, cannot pull the trigger for Obama (because of you know what).
The site he linked to (noquarter) is a refuge for a minorty of dissaffected Hillary voters angry about the outcomes of the Democratic primaries. They have a personal hatred for Obama and vowed to support McCain and other candidates just to sting him. Nevermind that Barack and Hillary's platforms are very similar.
