Hello friends,
MAHK here, LG programmer from back in the day.
System Shock is turning 20 this month!
To celebrate, I'm going to be live streaming the game this Sunday, 9/21. I'll start at 1pm pacific. I'll be doing commentary and telling development stories and probably reloading my save game a lot. I've asked some other Shock devs to call in and help with the commentary, and it seems likely that some of them will be around.
The twitch channel will be here: (

Hope to see you there.
Salt the Fries!

P.S. Tell your friends!

Oh yes, awesome, Marc. I already had a calendar reminder for the 20 years of System Shock, although I put it on the 22.
Let's reminisce!

Excellent news! System Shock is one of my favorite games, and its main theme is still as kickass as ever. Can't believe how complex that game was for 1994, it was way ahead of its time.

This is still one of my favourite soundtracks ever, of any game. With the Security level theme following close behind.

20 years, huh? What am I supposed to bring SHODAN for our anniversary? There are so few noobs to sacrifice.
Can't believe the time has passed so quickly. That was definitely the golden era of game making/playing as far as I'm concerned. So few games match the quality and originality of the Shock games.
I'll definitely be there, MAHK. Great to see this game still getting some dev involvement on this auspicious date.
