I can't seem to find it. I would appreciate it if you showed me a screen shot of the exact location on the map.

I haven't found Fin-Gleam either, but I'm going to go looking for it in a minute.
As a rule of them, it's best not to store your things in any containers open to NPCs. However, I think it's safe to store your things in the guildmaster's room if you are the guildmaster.
I just buy a house instead.

I found fin-gleam without much difficulty either. It helps if you have a mod to make the water clearer (Bethesda was stupid for making it so murky in the first place).
It's actually pretty useful considering it will also cast Night-Eye, making it just as easy to see underwater as above it.

the location of the fin-gleam kinda reminds me of that good old dragonbone cuirass
btw could someone give me some info about the helmet? how many constant effects for example..

Fin Gleam (Glass Helm):
Water Breathing on Self
Night-Eye on Self
Detect Life 20ft on Self
The Detect Life is fairly pointless. At 20ft, you can usually see anyone around you anyway. The first two are a very nice combination though. The only thing that could make Fin Gleam better would be adding Water Walking onto it.

If there was Water Walking, would you really need Water Breathing? :)

Well, I pretty much answered the questions myself. I found fin gleam before you guys posted. (It was hard!)
And the guildmaster's chest is good for storing stuff.
