I wanted the cartoon cats myself, I should point out.

Glad to see they're still recycling the "characters so venemous" blurb. Also, is anyone tempted to do a five image zoom in on the train wallpaper in Dav's shot? HE'S TAKEN OVER HIS LITTLE BROTHERS ROOM
;)

Still annoyed that they changed the covers halfway through the series. Who DOES that?
Pre-ordered it months ago anyways but come on

When he takes like 18 000 hours to write a fucking book, a lot can happen.
Please don't die before you finish you fat fuck

So, why does play.com only sell the hardcover edition at first? It wouldn't fit with the rest of my collection, but I really want to read it asap.. :/
D'Juhn Keep on 15/10/2005 at 12:16
Because people who really want to read it quickly will buy the hardcover, which costs more, meaning the publisher gets more money. Unless there's some other reason that I'm unaware of ;)

Yes, let's talk about what an utter WANGFEST the publishing industry seems to be.
Mr. Hardback comes out first, costing you about £20-15 (less if you shop around, hello play.com). It looks all pretty, but it can be kind of bulky to read in bed and stuff.
If you wait until about MAY 2006, you can get a paperback version from play.com for £9. Wowsers.
The properly priced paperback version at £5.99 doesn't seem to show up until NOVEMBER 2006.
This is a great big pile of wank, since the book is CLEARLY FINISHED. The only reason to hold off is milking as much cash as possible from desperate fans (and it'll probably work on me, too :( )
I demand simultaneous hardback/paperback releases!
