It's MORE AND LESS my 101st time ;) But I played it so many times it could be true.
Anyway, I tried all the mods outthere, and had a great deal of fun with them but lately I just wanted to play the game as it was originally intended. The only problem is that the game doesn't offer a challenge anymore.
So I thought I would play it with some nasty, self-limiting personal rules, something opposite to the "Wrench Jockey".
And believe me, with the following rules, in the last two days I was on a hyperandrenalinic rollercoaster, fighting with teeths for my life through MedSci and Engineering.
For the first time at the half of the engineering deck I went back to medsci desperately searching for some ammo and medhypos and take a breath in the cryosection.
1) Max two weapons.
2) Use wrench as a blackjack only
The early game is a nightmare on Impossible. With limited ammo, with the guns breaking constantly and with no real melee capability it's tough. I'm playing as Hacker+Research with some basic Repair and Maintenance skills. An almost-useless wrench plus a pistol. The good thing is that Brawnboosters and the OS upgrade to melee attacks can give you an advantage when you try to get the hybrids from behind, if that is you choice of course.
Well, I thought I'd share it with you. After years I'm still having A LOT of fun with this old girl.
thanks for your time.
;)

SS2 still is one of my favourite games of all time.

Jeesh. I'll hand it to you for that playthrough. The worst one I've ever done is a no ValueRep, tier 1 skills/weapons only run.

First off..
get a life..
secondly
I can only be so lucky lol. I havent been able to play SS2 for a few years. I hate how difficult it is to get this stuff up and running.

People, tell me, has anyone passed the game with only OSA skills? I mean with no Standard weapons, just pure OSA. I think it is impossible as there are too little hypos around. What are your ideas about this matter?

Definitely possible, I've done it, as well as PSI Sword+Hack only and a Gandhi run without killing a single enemy.

Didn't TNT try it one time?

Gandhi mode or psi-only?
