This keeps happening to me all the time, but today just broke the record. I was in this not-so-big conference room at our office. It was brightly lit, and I was sitting by a wall, some two metres from the door, waiting for another person to come for a meeting. That person entered the room, took a quick glance around, turned around, sticked his head through the door, and shouted my name very loudly, which is his code for "where the hell are you, come here this instant".

"I'm here", I said, as calmly as possible.

The black jeans and pullover I usually wear cost me some $100 total. The face of of my boss suddenly realising I was where he was absolutely sure I wasn't - priceless.

But that's not all. When he got over it, he sat in his usual spot... and it turned out he couldn't see me, because I subconciously chose a spot where I would be hidden from him.

I guess I'm getting better than Garrett himself. He needed shadows.
