I recently re-installed thief 1/2 on my new PC/laptop, and everything was fine. Installation was fine, and opening the game was fine. But after loading the game, I have this 10 second gameplay, then it freezes. I can't even alt tab out of the game, and pressing the start menu button doesn't work. The best I could reach is the butler's quarters where Garett can pick off his first 4 stacks of coins. Then it freezes, sometimes sooner,not even after Basso finished his speech about "springing the side lock". Anyone else have this problem?

Ahh, I just found out my computer is duel core...that explains why -.- Thanks, clearing =)
