Are you folks using a mouse to do that? Unfortunately the quick lighting of the fire in the hut was beyond the ability of my old laptop touchpad. I tried doing it faster, jettisoning all other inventory, taking a speed potion which I made, even tried to destroy the front door to cut out the awkward direction of approach so that I didn’t rush in and get stuck behind the chair opposite. (Never mind the fact that it would no longer be very cosy inside with a front door missing). :D All failed. I really needed “Mission Complete” to appear only when Garrett went upstairs.

I've only started playing fan missions in the past year after replaying the series again, and have I been missing out. So far I've stuck with highly rated mission but this contest was the first time I've attempted missions blind. It so good to see quality fan missions being created after 20 years.
This mission unique, engaging and had some nice unexpected twists. I finished the mission in 2 hours and 50 minutes with 4410 loot, 5 secrets and 2 bonus objectives (missed a small section of the map at the start).
I managed to achieve the fireplace bonus because I missed the frying pan first time through the hut and decided to return to look for the blackjack and realising I could stack the wood.
Because I didn't have the frying pan when I first encountered the cultist in the old church, I picked up the hammer and threw it at sleeping one to check if the builder would smite him, it didn't but I managed to bludgeon him to death, then a few others in the village before I called it a night. The next night I continued the mission a different direction. At some point I back-stabbed a cultist so I could scout ahead but to my surprise that was considered a human kill, and game over. So my question, is the hammer in the church a deliberate addition?
Overall, good job nicked.

The hammer is just a prop to show that the priest didn't make it. The fact that it can cause damage is just a default feature of the engine - you can throw heavy stuff at enemies in the original missions too.
The cultists are human, just feral and weird.

Ah right, I've been trying to ghost as much as possible since I started replaying, so I haven't tried this, I assumed it would have resulted in a fail.

Having the unfrobbable lockpick bug with the lastest version. What can I do? Does the author still take savegames?

Thanks! If you haven't, maybe you can update the main post with it too? I'll give it a go in a few days probably and restart the mission, since I've got my hands full with Lady Rowena's excelent Seven Sisters right now. Just the first night took me the longest time (in a great way) and there are two more to go.
EDIT: Happy to say it's working for me now. What a great FM, truly one of my favourites. lol at the hidden bunny slippers. They aren't reachable right?

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was an incredible mission!!!!!!
Thank you so much for that nicked!!
Still, with the lagging in the forest and all the frustration, I loved it!

An absolutely fantastic mission! I thought - okey, another 1 mil contest map, this will be a quick playthrough. Took me over 2 hours to finish it. What I loved most are the knitting kit and a silver mirror on thieves bunks and the sound of rain indoors. This tapping almost lulled me to sleep. Thanks for this gem!
