You play the mission on Normal which is easy mode for Thief and then complain the mission is too easy?

Well i am not complaining, was just the first impression after the first playthrough. I always start on normal first all missions, then hard and last expert :) I will try on hard and expert the next days.

Great mission and unique outside design of the mansion! Goes well with the vegetation.
However, I'm short on loot on expert. I only have 2599 and I do feel I've been everywhere in the area. I also miss 20 on the 450 in gems requirement.

There is some jewelry on stands in top floor corridor that can be missed. Also did you found gems mentioned in one of readables?

Just finished this one and what a difference to Alcazar that was.
The author has built an extremely good looking mansion, if a little too crisp and clean, just look at the sewers, you could almost eat your diner off the floor in the sewers if you were so inclined, but unless you had informed me I would have had no idea that this mission was an entrant for a contest that had a restricted size, so I'm not sure if that should help or detract from voting in the 'Best use of space' criteria, guess you could argue that point both ways.
Apart from that nit picking it was a lovely small mansion mission, and yes I also found it too easy, but then again I KO everybody in sight, so maybe other players may consider ghosting this mission for an extra level of difficulty.

Clearly it should help, otherwise you'd be deducting points because the mission used space too convincingly; that makes no sense.

I'm only commenting on my expectations in comparison to other missions that have been in restricted size contests, such as your excellent Alcazar as well as others such as The Tower, Temple of the Tides, Affairs of Wizard etc, all of which were appeared be very much more compact maps than this mission. I'm not a mapper myself so I can't imagine how big 1 million Dromed units actually are, but when I compare this mission to others it just didn't feel like it was built within the same parameters. Guess I was expecting yet another small map with loads of restricted spaces which this mission certainly does not have.

I don't see how that's a bad thing. If anything, it's a huge upside that a mission that had to be built within a restricted space seems bigger than it is. And yeah, it does fit within one million units like all others.

I never said it was a bad thing, it's just that it threw me as it was so completely different from what I was expecting.
