Same username. But it doesn't even matter. I honestly don't care. There are enough like-minded posts that I know I'm not alone in my opinion. Thanks for the offer anyway.
Not a problem and you're very welcome. :)

Nope...There was a personal attack involved, so that was understandable.

Stephen Russell is the voice of Garrett!
... unless of course you're in France or Germany. Then it's Pierre or Üter!
Seriously, as much as I love Stephen Russell's voice work for Garrett, it is what it is. The company creating the game decided to nix him, and in the end I hope they stick with their decision--because that's what they want.
Petitions and angry voices are ridiculous, and any creative entity should never bow down to complaints. A creative entity's only responsibility is to make what he/she/they want to make, and people can either accept it or reject it. So, if anyone is truly that put out that Mr. Russell isn't part of the game, then just don't buy the game. But you cannot make things be what you want it to be, just because that's what you want. Either go with it, or say to hell with it.

Governments LOVE to hear attitudes like that. ;)

... and your actual option for revolt against this instance of tyranny and oppression is to not buy the product. Petitions and protests mean nothing accept a bunch of free publicity.

Depends on who is listening.
Petitions got us Dromed and the Thief 3 level editors. Maybe it will gain ground, maybe it won't. It's better than being defeatist all the time and not trying. Crazier things have happened. In my own experience, anything is possible. I come from humble beginnings but have had opportunities to do things that I never dreamed possible when I was a kid. Dare to dream my friend and make them real.

Can't argue with this sentiment. :thumb:
