I know. Im not implying that she isnt a fan. (At least, that is not my intent.) But she keeps getting regarded as some kind of shill for EM. While she says that is ridiculous, she wont say anything about the game that could put her at odds with EM later. I dont think there is anyone else here who, even if generally positive about the upcoming game, couldnt express a concern of some kind, or without hesitation say something they want in the next game that goes deeper than 'no-killing' and 'no load zones'.

Yes, I know EM have confirmed all these points but if you go back years ago into my post history you will see that my needs as a taffer have always been the same. So, the list of things I don't like isn't something I've just made up to match EM, lol. Can't believe you even think like that. :wot:
I loved everything in the original games. The only game I never liked was DS. So, if EM produce a game like DS, I will be extremely disappointed. The only redeeming feature was the Cradle mission... but that really is it for me. So, yeah, if Thief ends up like DS, I won't be a fan of the game at all.
Is the interrogation over now? :cheeky:

Sure, interrogation is done. I actually kinda expected that you would be a little more creative and come up with more than "I didn't like DS". I also hoped that by doing so you might take some of the wind out of the sails of your detractors. Since you don't seem interested; carry on. You didn't say anything to help your cause.

I was asking you to get into some finer details about what you really liked, and what concerned you. For myself, while the style of the city is different, I don't mind it
IF its dark and gritty enough. I have concerns about the AI. I have concerns about how much sound will work in this game. I have concerns about how much lore will be removed from the world. I don't like the new imagining of Garrett, including,of course, the possible loss of Mr. Russell.
Some here didnt like how many supernatural elements were in T1 and thought T2 was better because of their absence. I dont mind the supernatural elements, but thought they could do with less than in T1, but more than in T2. What disappointed me the most about DS was how they removed, or tried to remove, most of the mystery of the world. The Keepers went from a totally mysterious group whose origins and powers were largely unknown, to a small group of blundering idiots.
So given my take of the first games, you might begin to see what I want and don't want in the new game. This is the kind of answer I would expect from anyone else on here.

I've already expressed my opinions for the past 4 - 5 years. I just don't want to do it all over again. You can read my post history if you would like to catch up.

I'm going to let the mods here deal with it now because I tire of it all, its very boring and derails thread. It just means others have to plough through the nonsense too, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
