2000 games selling at $50 is $100,000.

Except that it will cost them more than that
Except that it will probably cost them less than that, actually. Some - if not most - of those who have signed the petition will buy Thief 4 anyway when the game comes out. They're not necessarily boycotting Thief 4 for this reason (I certainly won't), they simply want Stephen Russell back, just like we all do.

What? No kiss! :cheeky:
How very snarky and troll-like of you. You just can't leave it alone, can you? (Rhetorical question, btw.)
G'bye. Don't let the door hit you ... etc., etc.
Done.

LOL, no love in your heart then. :ebil:
I was just taking the first steps to drop the nonsense.
You don't want to; that's fair enough. But perhaps you can stop replying to me now as clearly it frustrates and angers you.

Absolutely agree here; I thought it was obvious that many people will still buy the game if it meets with their requirements.

I made a simple observation for a simple reason. You can and obviously will read whatever you want into it. For me, it means here is $100,000 dollars worth of revenue speaking directly to you directly about the game. Yes, Stephen Russell was discarded at a time when the new team just didnt realise what they were getting themselves into, when they started accepting paychecks to make "a cool new game called Thief, based on some ancient crap from the past". However, there are *plenty* of other things worth petitioning for as well, and there is so much time left. :ebil: And again, this is $100,000 dollars of revenue talking to you....

I won't buy it! Even if I did, I couldn't do anything with it, except open up the compressed files and root around. Anyway, that's a really old argument that makes the poster and their buddies feel clever and others just shake their heads.

It is my hope that at some point the powers that be will form a cohesive collection of things gone wrong that need fixing and present it as the Thief Petition. Of course, the more information they reveal about the new title the more this could change, but they seem to be hiding out at the moment! :cheeky: (thiefessa, this is a good time to use cheeky, not every time you say anything. :p)

I apologise. But I usually have a cheshire cat grin on my face so I feel it represents my mood. :cheeky:
Ooops, I did it again. :o

That's fine for now if you don't understand, as at this time, I choose not to explain the dynamic causalities of the situation to you...Yet, in time you will see what I say is true...
This, of course, assumes EM decides to continue much further down the misguided path.
