I'm willing to bet that where you see Garrett's lips moving while he talks will probably just be 5 minutes out of the whole game. Just wait. I still think motion capture has nothing to do with it, it's just an excuse that Square Enix used to try and console the fans. SE just wanted someone else to do Garrett, and that's what they'll do, and the fans can go to hell. They don't care about the fans. "Staying true to the spirit of Thief" has a different meaning to them than it does to us. To them it means doing whatever they want, but still calling it "Thief".
And at this point, while I still appreciate the effort the devs put into the game, I honestly hope Thief 4 bombs. It's the only way the powers that be will learn. You don't care about the petition and the fans? Maybe you'll care when you start losing millions.

And now I shall once again call into question the credibility the team has regarding creating any type of official Thief material. Has *anyone* on the team even played through Dark Project? The only info I remember from the storm of recent media is that like 1 or 2 team members had even played it.
