If you'd appended a mention of the petition or Facebook rage, it would've been ejected quick. At least the sentiment has a presence. I haven't stumbled across comments about most people being onboard with EM's choice from random gamers.

I wondered if that was coming, haha! I meant the word "petition", or something that would pop up in a quick skim or search by the mods for intruders causing mayhem.

I was planning on selling my old Xbox 360 and all the games for it so I can invest the money to buy Xbox One and Thief Reboot/Thief 4.
The only reason I would get the console is because of Thief really.
But the voice change was enough to turn me off. Now I'm still planning on at least buying the console in hopes that they would change the voice back in the last minute at least and that I would be ready for it then.
Man, I remember I was so excited when I heard they would make another Thief game until they announced all these changes trying to fix what is nowhere near broken...
I've got at least 5 more people I could get to sign the petition, since I've started writing articles for a soccer website. :P
I doubt they would allow a Thief article to be there, since it doesn't fit in, though I could try and slip it in with the proper theme and title.

Soooo.... You're going spend $400 bucks for something you're really not that interested in owning on the off-chance that a game may be released that you'd buy only if the original voice actor were back in the game?
Damn. A carnies' dream! I mean, I too would certainly shell out -- at the very least! -- a hundred-bucks to win one of those over-sized pencils, or maybe a purple-feathered roach clip. Sure, I'd have to sharpen the pencil with a chainsaw, and the roach clip is just going pinch that joint half before falling apart, but at least I own them in-case I need them. They're MINE!

I'm hoping that the 5000 mark will make them sit up and take notice. Yeah, yeah, I know; that's just a drop in the bucket to EM, but if even only half of that number refuse to buy the game we're talking at least $150k. And that's gotta at least sting a little. One can only hope.
