There's a reason RSSBot is the only person on TTLG on my ignore list. Nothing of value is lost by ignoring it.
Yeah. I'll go put him on mine, too.

Had to abandon the Crimson Fleet space pirate/thieves guild quest line cuz of a game breaking bug. The next step in a quest fails to trigger. FANTASTIC!

Oh no, did you encounter some uglified women or what? :o
I've been meaning to play Starfield as well, but I'm not ready to jump into another "mega game" right now. I'm busy with the Mass Effect trilogy for now, and once I'm done with those games, I need to do another play through of Kingdom Come: Deliverance before the sequel comes out next year. And there are probably a bunch of other games that I should play that I've already forgotten.
Hopefully they've fixed all the bugs by the time I actually get to play Starfield.

His big butts mod broke. He can't play the game without it.
Tomi, and anyone else thinking about playing Starfield, consider this: play Star Wars Outlaws instead. While playing Outlaws I often thought about Starfield, and what I thought was "this is like Starfield but fun". Everything's just better in Outlaws. Stealth's better, action's better. The missions are more fun. And its handful of handcrafted planets are much more interesting than Starfield's 1000 boring-ass planets.

I mean, I'd never try a thing like that, which is why I never found that exploit.
But yes, still more fun stealth than Starfield. (which isn't a high bar to clear)

Yeesh, Asmongoloid? Who gives a shit. Call me if the entire game's like that.
The engine Massive made for Avatar and Outlaws is pretty top-notch, it even does path tracing on PC. It's just not great on console, so maybe don't play it there with high expectations graphically. While I'm pretty sure Outlaws is a mid-tier snoozefest with some highs (sorry, henke), there's nothing to fault in the technology.

I heard that Assmongold got banned on some streaming service(s) for some openly racist comments, which obviously doesn't say anything about his gaming knowledge, but proves that he's a real Ass indeed. I hope I don't have to see his smug annoying face again.
Most games have silly exploits like that, and looks like SW:Outlaws is no exception. Which of course doesn't surprise me at all, since it's a Ubisoft game, but I think it still looks pretty good and fun! I'm definitely going to give it a try as soon as I get a couple more "must-play" games off my backlog. I also want to try Starfield though, just to see what all the fuss is/was about.

It's Fallout in space. They did actually address peoples' criticisms from Fallout 4 (eg the FPS combat, too many fake choices because having fully voiced protagonists was constraining them.) The main quest line is a poorly written bore, with unexplained lore that feels badly copypasta'd from Babylon 5 (i.e. "ascended races" like the Shadows + Vorlons). If you're wondering WTF the Unity is they go full Rian Johnson Looper meta at one point and mock the player for asking.
Ignore all of the Radiant procedurally generated shit (eg anything from a mission board, most planetary exploration) and focus on the faction side-quests and you'll have a decent time IMO. The core Constellation companions are also compelling enough (they're no Nick Valentine from Fallout 4, of course.)
As for Outlaws, the game has reportedly had a troubled development. Eg it's rumoured that Massive was tasked upon developing because of their live service experience with The Division. The game was initially going to be GaaS where the players are competing Mandalorian bounty hunters. They cheapened out on elements, like not licensing the iconic John Williams' music and getting the AI voice bank to have James Earl Jones accurate Darth Vader (which Disney bought the perpetual rights to relatively recently).
